Hello, I'm Erica

Occupational Therapist

I am compassionate, empowering and nurturing

With nearly two decades of experience as a pediatric occupational therapist, I bring a compassionate, play-centered approach to supporting children and their families. My professional background spans hospitals, early intervention programs, outpatient clinics, and public schools, giving me a well-rounded perspective on meeting children’s needs across a variety of environments. I have specialized expertise in feeding therapy and in working with children from birth to age three, helping families navigate critical early developmental stages with confidence and care.

In addition to my work in the Durham Public School system, I am dedicated to providing respite care for families of children with special needs—offering trusted, skilled support that allows caregivers time to rest and recharge. I believe deeply that children learn and grow best through play, and I incorporate this philosophy into every interaction.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring my new home in the Raleigh area after relocating from Denver, Colorado. You’ll often find me spending time with my dog, Nelly, or heading out on local hiking trails to unwind and reconnect with nature.
