I am Empathetic, Dedicated & Supportive.

 Hi, I’m Katie Zolot, and I’m passionate about helping people with developmental disabilities grow, connect, and feel proud of who they are. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and have hands-on experience supporting teens and adults on the autism spectrum and with other developmental challenges.

As someone who’s neurodivergent myself, I understand what it’s like to process the world differently and how important it is to be met with patience and respect. That perspective helps me build real trust and tailor support to each person’s communication style, strengths, and goals.

Over the years, I’ve worked one-on-one and in group settings—helping with daily-living skills, social interactions, emotional regulation, and community integration. I bring humor, structure, and empathy into everything I do, and I love celebrating each step forward, no matter how small.
