Hello, I'm Morcos

Hey, I am Marcus, a recent graduate from UNC currently on the pre-med track. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been driven by a deep curiosity about the human body and a desire to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. That passion has led me to pursue a career in medicine, with the ultimate goal of becoming a neurosurgeon. I’m fascinated by the complexity of the brain and nervous system, and I’m committed to putting in the years of dedication, discipline, and learning it takes to get there.

 

Outside of academics, I try to stay active and grounded by spending time outdoors. I really enjoy hiking and exploring new trails, as well as swimming, which helps me stay both physically and mentally balanced. I also have a strong love for learning beyond the classroom—whether that’s diving into a new subject, having meaningful conversations, or reading books that challenge my perspective. I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories, as I believe there’s always something to learn from others’ experiences.

 

Overall, I’m someone who is motivated, curious, and always looking for ways to grow—both personally and professionally—as I work toward my future in medicine.
